Converse X MMM

Not a sneakerhead but I think a Margiela collab might just change my mind. Last year, fashion house Maison Martin Margiela released its collaboration with Swedish retailer H&M with basically re-editions for less. I’ve been a fan of the brand since my eyes were opened to the world of fashion and though I miss the old MMM’s knack for obscurity and exclusivity, I was a happy camper that the same iconic pieces were sold for what was well within my price range. Sort of. Ended up with their upside down bag from S/S 2006 and I’ve been wearing it non-stop since. I took a Publishing course at Columbia University last year, and for part of the program, found myself under the tutelage of some of New York City’s most experienced book and magazine art directors.
